Maryhill Winery Songfest Winner!
September 4, 2004, Theresa Demarest won the coveted spot as named artist to open for a major act during the Maryhill Winery Amphitheater’s 2005 Summer Concert Series. This event was Maryhill Winery Amphitheater’s 2nd annual Songwriters Fest. There were 30 regional songwriters competing in the final round of this year’s event. Theresa was asked to perform four songs from her latest CD titled Roll On Down. During the contest portion of the event Theresa was joined by excellent regional guitarist Neil Grandstaff. They performed :
– Roll On Down (Country/Rock) – Words and Music Theresa Demarest
– Jonnie D and Me (Folk/Country) – Words by Theresa Demarest, John Demarest, Nola Wilken
– Pardon Me (Jazz Blues Ballad) – Words and Music Theresa Demarest
– Lose Your Mind in the Music (Country Blues) Words and Music Theresa Demarest>
Theresa returned on Sunday September 5th with long time Good Company band member Janice Scroggins and Neil Grandstaff to headline the final festival concert.

Theresa and her excellent Sax Man Renato Caranto are proud to have won 5th place in the contest and were invited back for a 30 minute performance on Sunday with the 10 final winners.
